Clipart of National Junior HOnor Society logo of a torch Max Abbott Middle School inducted 51 students into our Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. These students must maintain are chosen based on their academics and character to represent our school. Students must maintain a 90 average and are dedicated to the principals that define NJHS: Scholarship, Leadership, Character, Service, and Citizenship. Throughout the year, these scholars will enjoy several community service projects, such as food drives, caroling at nursing homes, and serving at student events. Our NJHS serves as a light in our school and our community and we are blessed to have so many lighting the torch.

Our Super Fitness Field Day Participants had a great time regardless of the heat. Students from all over the county were selected to compete against their grade level in several track and field events. Our Panthers not only exemplified true sportsmanship, but came away with a few top finishes!
